I’m a Hobby Farmer. Like many small hobby farmers out there, I started my farm by hatching eggs. I have learned that the shipped eggs did not do as well as the ones I bought locally. However, I could not always find the ones that I wanted in my area. I had to buy shipped eggs because it was more affordable than buying live chicks or ducklings. The fun part is watching the chicks/ducklings hatch.
It’s
much simpler to buy the eggs and have a good hatch. This is not always the case
however because buying shipped eggs is risky. There are many things that can go
wrong during transit that will decrease the ability of the embryos to develop.
Here are some, but not
all of THE RISKS that can cause the eggs not to develop or hatch after they
leave my possession:
- Rough
handling: dropped during transit causing scrambled air sacs, dead embryos
or cracked eggs.
- UPS or USPS takes
too long to deliver the eggs to you it could cause the embryos to not be
viable.
- Eggs
can be subjected to extreme heat or cold.
- X-Rays.
- Improper
handling prior to placing in the incubator.
- Improper
methods of incubation.
- ETC.

- You will receive an
email within 24 hours of placing an order to confirm your order. Please
note the scheduled shipping date. If there is any reason that the eggs cannot
be shipped on time, I will contact you about the delay or a refund (if you
request it).
- There is a 15%
restocking fee on the total in case you cancel the order.
SHIPPING & GUARANTEE:
- The eggs will ship Priority Mail by USPS or UPS (ship to lower 48 state in US only).
- I guaranteed the eggs will be fresh (no older than 3 days will ship) and SHIP TO YOU WITH INSURANCE. Incase you received the damaged eggs then YOU CAN FILE THE CLAIM FOR YOUR MONEY BACK WITH USPS or UPS (I'M SORRY BECAUSE DUE TO USPS POLICY I'M NO LONGER ABLE TO FILE CLAIM FOR YOU SO YOU HAVE TO FILE THE CLAIM ON YOUR OWN).
- I DO NOT COMBINE SHIPPING due to not all the eggs in different auctions will be available to ship at same time so which one available first will ship first (If I hold the eggs and wait for the other then they will get older, and it will not be any help for your hatch).
- I DO NOT GUARANTEED FERTILITY / YOUR HATCH RATE, the embryos are very sensitive, because of the condition of shipping, have no control over the handling during transit or your hatching experience, after years of hatching shipped eggs, I have learned that not all customers will have a great hatch SINCE sometime the embryos don’t make through a rough trip and cause them not viable AND if the embryos die then there will be nothing to develop and it doesn't mean the eggs weren't fertile. It's sad but it's happen so PURCHASING HATCHING EGGS ALWAYS HAS RISKS. IF YOU CAN’T ACCEPT THE RISK then PLS ORDER DUCKLINGS.
- I DO NOT REPLACE THE EGGS or REFUND ANY MONEY incase THE EGGS HAVE BROKEN AIR SACS, DO NOT DEVELOP OR DO NOT HATCH (Including low hatch or 0% hatch) or USPS TAKE TOO LONG TO DELIVERY THE EGGS TO YOU.
- I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURN FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING "NOT AS DESCRIBED" BECAUSE THE EGGS DO NOT HATCH WHEN I'M NOT GUARANTEE THOSE EGGS WILL HATCH.
I do not wash the eggs. I leave that up to the buyer. I have had a very high hatch rate. I do not sell the eggs until fertilization is confirmed to over 85%. I can’t guarantee the hatch rate because of the things I can’t control after the eggs leave my possession.
I
like being able to offer hatching eggs to everyone. However, if you don’t
accept the risk of buying hatching eggs as stated above then please do both of
us a favor and order live chicks or ducklings at a hatchery.
