Welcome to Blue Sky Country Farm!
Blue Sky Country Farm is a small hobby farm located on the west side of Jacksonville, FL. We found a part of our soul that was sleeping. It was awakened by our first birds.
It started a few years ago when my hubby asked me, "What do you think about getting some chickens? I'd like some fresh eggs everyday", I did not say no. From then on our birds numbers kept growing and hasn't stopped. Thanks to my hubby who helped me realize I loved animals. I'm a farmer and I love animals, especially ducks.
Why a farm? Why chicken? Why duck? With me, animals were a part of my life, I grew up with them. My dad had always had animals from rabbits, ducks, goats, pigs, cows to even turtles. He dreamed about a real farm but unfortunately he didn't have a chance to make his dream come true. Now I'm building a farm for myself, for my family, for my dream & my father's dream.
We're currently raising about 16 species of Call & Bantam ducks and of course we have some chickens.
Because, we're a small farm and there are very limited numbers, availability may vary. We do update regularly what we have available at our web store. If you're interest in the breed that currently not available and like to pre-order then please write to us at BlueSkyCountryFarm@gmail.com
We do take orders from local. We are however an NPIP & AI clean tested farm and will do our best to protect our birds from exposure to diseases and contamination of any kind. Therefore, local pick-up is not available. If you order eggs they will be shipped. If you are interested in ducklings, we will post when they become available on our facebook page and schedule a meeting time and place off our poultry yard limits. There will be no exceptions.
